DSGW Architects designed the new Government Services Building for St. Louis County in Virginia and needed photos and video to show the completed space. This particular shot was a challenge because there was a large metal wall with a design cut out blocking the view I wanted for the shot. What we ended up doing is positioning the camera agains the metal wall and shot through the opening.

We then walked through the space adding lighting with flash pops from a mono light and then composited all of the images together. We had one person sit in the waiting area on the lower level and added a model on the mezzanine level in post-production.
