Never Surrender Inc has one simple goal: to help people living with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The three major fundraising events they organize include; The Blackwoods Blizzard Tour, The Kolar/Toyota Fishing Tournament, and The Tomasonni Tour: Cycle for ALS. 

While the Blackwoods Blizzard Tour, a 300 mile snowmobile ride, and the Kolar/Toyota Fishing Tournament have been well established fundraising events for many years, Never Surrender Inc needed to promote their newest event–The Tomasonni Tour: Cycle for ALS. Twins Legends Kent Herbyk, Terry Steinbach, and Ron Gardenhire, have been involved in Never Surrender for years. Danger Bird Productions was asked to produce a high-end TV spot featuring the baseball greats at Target Field. We created a concept, storyboarded, wrote a script, and put together a mock edit from footage we filmed in pre-production that represented what we wanted to produce. The mock video was approved upon first viewing and reproduced at Target Field.

The final product was used for TV, social media, website, and was also played on the jumbotron at Target Field. The first annual Tomasonni Tour raised over $144,000, the largest first year event ever for Never Surrender.
